New Jersey Assembly Bill 4767 bans the use of regulated PFAS substances in menstrual products if intentionally added or present at or above 10 parts per million. The bill requires manufacturers to periodically test for PFAS, overseen by the Department of Environmental Protection. Violations fall under the “”Consumer Fraud Act”” and may result in fines, cease and desist orders, punitive damages, and treble damages.
