The EAEU Technical Regulation on Packaging Safety requires manufacturers to conduct conformity assessments and declarations to ensure compliance. This involves identifying packaging, conducting tests in accredited labs, and registering a declaration of conformity for specific packaging types. Declarations are valid for 5 years for mass-produced packaging and only for that batch for specific batches. Packaging must meet this regulation and other Union technical regulations to circulate within the EAEU. The applicant must retain the declaration and supporting materials for at least 10 years.
