Important Update: Post-Introduction Declaration (PID) Requirements for Exempted Chemicals

A Post-Introduction Declaration (PID) is a one-time requirement for certain chemicals introduced under exempted categories. If a chemical is introduced between 01-Sep-2023 and 31-Aug-2024, a separate PID must be submitted for each chemical by 30-Nov-2024. Repeated introductions of the same chemical do not require another PID. Eligible parties include Registered Importers, Manufacturers, and Agents or Consultants. To submit, log into AICIS Business Services, access the PID Dashboard, create the PID, specify the chemical type, and submit by the deadline.
