The SCCS Working Group on Cosmetic Ingredients met in Luxembourg from 3-4 Sep 2024. Key topics included participant acknowledgments, agenda adoption, draft opinions on Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Benzophenone-1, and HC Red 18, and discussions on children’s exposure to Salicylic acid, Butylparaben, and Prostaglandin analogues. They also reviewed comment periods for Hexylsalicylate, Biphenyl-2-ol, Sodium 2-biphenylolate, and HC Yellow 16 hair dye, finalized documents, and shared updates on publications, workshops, and conferences.
