This document provides an overview of the ""report packaging data"" service under the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework for packaging services. It includes lists of large producers reporting waste packaging data for 2023 and 2024.

Key Highlights:

Definition of Large Producers: Organizations with over £2 million annual turnover and handling more than 50 tons of packaging in the UK qualify as large producers.
Purpose of Lists: The lists identify compliant large producers, aiding audits or environmental inquiries. Non-compliant producers are excluded.
Data Accuracy: Producers submit data that may contain inaccuracies initially, but accuracy is expected to improve as data is refined with subsequent submissions.
Beneficiaries: The lists serve businesses involved in importing filled branded packaging, operating online marketplaces, manufacturing/importing empty packaging, or packing/filling branded packaging.
Responsibility for Reporting: If a large producer doesn’t pack or fill the packaging, the supplier may bear responsibility for reporting.
This service supports enhanced compliance and transparency within the packaging industry under EPR guidelines.
