TFDA Public Meeting on Post-Market Chemical Assessments in Food

The FDA will host a public meeting on 25-Sep-2025 to discuss post-market chemical assessments in food. The meeting will focus on the reorganization of the Human Foods Program, with an emphasis on:

• Prioritizing chemical assessments in food products.
• Engaging stakeholders on the process, steps, and criteria for chemical prioritization.

Public comments are invited and must be submitted by 21-Jan-2025. This initiative aims to enhance food safety by improving the FDA’s approach to chemical evaluations.
