Key Highlights:

  • Public Comment Deadline: June 28, 2024
  • Methods for Providing Warnings:

    • Physical Locations: Signs, electronic devices, labels, or short-form labels.
    • Internet Purchases: Warnings must appear on product pages, via hyperlinks, or prominently before purchase completion.
    • Catalog Purchases: Warnings must be clearly associated with the relevant product.
  • Short-Form Warnings: Permitted under specific conditions and allowed for products manufactured before a designated date.
  • Food Products: Warnings must contain specific language and reference a website for additional information.
  • Transitional Provisions: A grace period is provided to facilitate compliance with the new warning requirements.
