Organizations under Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for packaging must follow specific reporting schedules. Large producers must report data every six months, while small producers submit annually.
Key deadlines:
April 1, 2025 – Submission for July–December 2024 data and full-year 2024 data.
October 2025 – Submission for January–June 2025 data.
Missed deadlines should be reported to relevant environmental regulators, such as the Environment Agency (England) or SEPA (Scotland). The collected data helps calculate recycling obligations and waste management fees.
